Let Go

Round and round, a spinning whirlwind in my head.

I ask myself time and time again, why do I torment myself?

I am only human, with emotions and bare bones.

Why do I trap myself in a cage?

I must learn to let go of people, places and things that no longer bring me blissful happiness.

It seems it is all within my listless mind.

I am just a vessel that embodies an undying soul that yearns for more meaning on this earth.

I am only human with unlimited wants and desires, but I must let go before it consumes my soul.

“Let go” is my daily incantation to survive this chaotic world.

A Place Called Home

A graceful egret perched on a branch surrounded by a blurred natural backdrop.

Upon the clear blue skies, not a cloud in sight.

Upon a green mountain top, I spread my white feathery wings to see the world below.

I rely on my keen instincts to scout out my surroundings to find a place call “home.”

Where is home?

Home is where I could simply be myself.

A place where I could find protection from predators and raise my future generation.

Life is simple here, living among others that share the same purpose in life.

A place called home, like no other than the lake itself.

A place of sanctuary where the sun rises quietly each morning, to guide me through the day.

The moonlight cast a pale soft yellow glow reflecting the water at night.

At night, I perch silently on a tree branch dozing off to sleep.

This is a place called home, like no other.

Reflections of Me and You

What I see within, I also see in you.

We are so much alike, but also so different.

We could change ourselves to blend in with the rest, but still, “me and you” are only reflections of whom we strive to be.

What is real and what is fake?

Only “me and you” holds the key awareness of our true identities.

Reflections of “me and you” could bounce back tenfold, either for good or bad if not handled wisely.

Please take care of “me and you”

Moral lesson:

Living in harmony with others requires a well balance mind and continuous acceptance of other cultures. Beneath it all, we are still emotionally connected through similar experiences.

Past, Present, and Future

Leave the past behind, because it no longer matters…

You can’t change what has been said and done.

Live in the present, because it is a gift of opportunity to start again.

Search and look within to find happiness.

Plan for the future, to find meaning in your life journey.

Envision your future and hold your dreams tightly within your grasp.

Past, present and future.

These are chapters of your life story.
